Welcome to Living in Magazines

LIVING IN Richmond & Kew and Living in Barnes & East Sheen are two great magazines for local residents - helping them to find local businesses, information and events in their area. Each is delivered free to 14,000 selected ABC1 homes and businesses each, giving them a combined circulation of 28,000 and an estimated readership of 68,000.

Launched in 2006, LIVING IN Richmond & Kew has gone from strength to strength and is a well-established part of the community. Its sister publication, LIVING IN Barnes & East Sheen, was launched in 2009, becoming an instant hit with locals, and is delivered to homes in Barnes, Mortlake and Sheen. The magazines include articles covering a range of local topics, community news and events as well as book reviews, puzzles, competitions and listings. And, of course, both are the handiest way to find great local businesses.

Are you a local business - do you want more new business?
That's OK, we can help. Customers can only use you if they know you're there - and the easy way for them to do this is to pick up their favourite local magazine.

How are you currently gaining new business?
Word of mouth? Personal referrals are great and you can hope word of mouth is enough. But it probably isn't bringing in the number of new customers you need. We can help by making sure more potential customers see your brand.
Passing trade? Just because you've been in business for a long time doesn't mean everyone knows the range of services you now offer. We can help by showing new customers your services in a great looking advert.
Expensive publications or websites which don't bring enough return? Advertising really doesn't have to cost a lot to work well for you.
A more affordable rate means that you can advertise for longer, giving you the best chance of a good response.

So how affordable is affordable?
You can advertise from less than £24 pm for the smallest sized ad to reach 14,000 people directly in their own homes. Quality and consistency are a major part of what makes LIVING IN Magazines so successful. Each magazine is delivered to the same core homes so that residents rely on it and advertisers know they are building up brand recognition in people's minds, issue after issue.

Each magazine is delivered to two different areas over the two month period. This means that residents receive the magazine every other month but advertisers still benefit from monthly delivery.

Feedback from residents is very positive - and not surprising, as we all prefer to use local services when we have the choice. And because the magazines include a wealth of local information residents keep it until the next issue arrives.

So, all you need to do now is call Pippa on 020 8878 1890 - and we can get you into the next issue.

Are you a local organisation - want to share your news? The magazine is full of local articles, information, events and listings - and we're always happy to include more, space allowing. So if you have any information or events you would like highlighted in the magazines, just get in touch on 020 8878 1890 or email:

What you say...

“ In our current climate of uncertainty for small businesses it's even more important than ever to make sure money spent on advertising is money well spent. Most of my advertising is on-line, with one exception: Pippa's Living in Richmond and Kew monthly magazine which ticks all the boxes because it's a well designed magazine which readers want to read and keep or pass on. Pippa has consistently placed my advert alongside other relevant advertising and has really added value by giving me a page of editorial coverage too. When people say they saw me in a local magazine, I know that it has to be in Living in Richmond and Kew“
