’t heard of this, either. But it seems the tradition of gathering dew as part of May Day celebrations has been going on for 400 years. Dew was seen to have medicinal or magical qualities, so people would wash themselves with dew gathered in the early morning. Ham House will be open from 6am to enable you to gather your own dew!
