The making of Kew’s Temperate House

Until 16 September. The Temperate House in Kew Gardens is celebrating its re-opening after a five-year restoration project, but the original building, designed by Decimus Burton, took nearly 40 years to complete. Kew’s exhibition of Burton’s plans and drawings gives a behind-the-scenes look at how the Temperate House was developed to give a home to a wealth of new plants from around the world.
